An Elopement in the Peak District

Stepping away from the usual, an outdoor intimate wedding elopement, in the heart of the peak district. With boulders, heather and cotton grass, Higger Tor is a spectacular place, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Standing to the south west of Sheffield, with the village Hathersage 2km to the west.

After a short hike through heather covered hills, Rebecca and Esme had a beautifully styled picnic, with lilac napkins and gorgeous glasswear. Champagne and a delicious platter of cheeses and meats. A vase of flowers to match their gorgeous bouquets, featuring heather to match the surrounding countryside. Finishing touches included menus on handmade cotton paper, personalised with handwritten calligraphy and tied with lilac silk ribbon.
